Bald Eagle
Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Last weekend, in Canada and in Washington State (somewhat) I must have seen 200 to 500 bald eagles a day. And this was not the "high season", which happens when the salmon run.
Clearly, we have made progress as a nation in the restoration of this population's health. But I do find it ironic that's there are more eagles north of our border!
