Greater Yellowlegs Tringa melanoleuca
Sitting on my rear, with the sun on my back, and waiting for the birds to come close to me. My kind of bird photography! LOL.

I think I'm getting this greater/lesser thing down finally. The other big clue, besides head/bill ratio is how far wingtips extend (or don't in greaters) past tail.

Manual focus with 2x tele and 400mm toy lens. Fun! Not bad with the wimberley head. Almost full-frame and sharp, sharp, sharp.
