Collared Redstart

One of my favorite images from Costa Rica. My daughter knew I wanted a better picture of this species. While I was taking pictures of an emerald toucanet hidden behind a tree (that pixel over there is a toucanet...really), she discovered this wonderfully charming warbler on an old log.
Myio(millstone, mill, flour) borus (palm-fruit) torquatus (collared). I checked out "Dictionary of Word Roots and Combining Forms" from the library yesterday. It tries to match Greek, Latin, etc. words of biological and scientific significance. Useful. I get the species name but don't undertand the genus name at all.
