Green-winged teals are hard for me to capture - they are even more skittish than hawks. Best picture of one to date.. Today was a good day!
Green-winged teals have this lovely "vermiculation" (wow - such a technical word) pattern on their flanks. That pattern is a very demanding test of imaging quality and ensures it will be a long time before I have a great picture of a green-winged teal.
